On Friday, October 24, both Naples locations will host a Tacoversary Fiesta, filled with music, $10 lunch specials, happy hour deals, and heartfelt appreciation for the community that made this decade possible.

Felipe’s first opened in Naples in 2015 with one goal: bring authentic, made-from-scratch Mexican cuisine to Southwest Florida. From day one, the community responded with enthusiasm and support. Over time, what began as a new venture soon became a beloved local favorite.

When Felipe’s expanded to Naples, Jairo Navarro moved from New Orleans to help lead the way. Ten years later, he continues to serve as Multi-Unit Manager for both Naples locations. His exceptional leadership earned national recognition in 2019 when he was named El Restaurante Magazine’s Manager of the Year.
“Jairo is the kind of leader who never asks for recognition — he earns it every single day,” says co-owner Pike Howard.
Jairo’s commitment has helped shape a culture focused on teamwork, hospitality, and growth.
Living in Southwest Florida brings beauty—but also challenges. Over the past decade, Felipe’s has weathered hurricanes, power outages, and unexpected disruptions. Each time, the team came together to serve the community, not just reopen.
After Hurricane Irma, Felipe’s became a source of comfort and meals for neighbors in need. During the pandemic and recent storms, the team showed resilience, compassion, and dedication. This spirit of community support remains a core part of Felipe’s identity.
