At Felipe’s Taqueria, we believe in great food, good company — and giving back. This fall, we’re proud to partner once again with Shuck Cancer, an initiative of the American Cancer Society, to bring our community together for a cause that hits home for so many of us.

From now through November 11, 2025, every guest has the opportunity to “round up” at checkout and donate toward Shuck Cancer’s mission: ensuring that cancer patients across Louisiana have the transportation, lodging, and support they need to access care.

Why This Matters

Cancer affects all of us in one way or another — whether it’s a friend, family member, colleague, or neighbor. Shuck Cancer is more than a fundraiser: it’s a community movement built on compassion, resilience, and the belief that no one should be denied care because of barriers like transportation or lodging.

Since its launch in 2018, Shuck Cancer has raised over $1 million to support the Access to Care Grant Program in Louisiana, helping patients get to treatment rather than lose hope.

  • Felipe’s matched those round-up donations dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact.
  • The campaign culminated in a vibrant event filled with oysters, live music, and food from 30+ local restaurants — all in the spirit of “the best party with a purpose.”

  • Round up at checkout: When you pay your bill at any Felipe’s Taqueria location, you’ll see a prompt asking if you’d like to donate a few dollars (or more) to Shuck Cancer.
  • Matching support: Felipe’s will match guest donations — doubling every dollar you contribute.
