At Felipe’s Taqueria, we believe in great food, good company — and giving back. This fall, we’re proud to partner once again with Shuck Cancer, an initiative of the American Cancer Society, to bring our community together for a cause that hits home for so many of us.
From now through November 11, 2025, every guest has the opportunity to “round up” at checkout and donate toward Shuck Cancer’s mission: ensuring that cancer patients across Louisiana have the transportation, lodging, and support they need to access care.
Cancer affects all of us in one way or another — whether it’s a friend, family member, colleague, or neighbor. Shuck Cancer is more than a fundraiser: it’s a community movement built on compassion, resilience, and the belief that no one should be denied care because of barriers like transportation or lodging.
Since its launch in 2018, Shuck Cancer has raised over $1 million to support the Access to Care Grant Program in Louisiana, helping patients get to treatment rather than lose hope.

In 2024, Felipe’s Taqueria and owner Pike Howard earned the title of Top Shucker by raising an incredible $102,780 for Shuck Cancer.
