Celebrate Daiquiri Season at Felipe’s French Quarter!

Stop by Felipe’s French Quarter this Thursday, September 8th for a refreshing daiquiri. The whole month of September will be Tales of the Cocktail’s first annual Daiquiri Season! Felipe’s is excited to participate and will be featuring the “Rumskull”, which is made with Black Magic Rum; and Tiki Tolteca will be featuring “Tequila’n Me Smalls” with Lunazul Blanco Tequila. Come on by and celebrate Daiquiri season with drinks and live mariachi music presented by Aces de Louisiana from 6-8 pm on Thursday, September 8th. To get you excited for Daiquiri season, here are three fun facts about the popular drink:

1. National Daiquiri Day is July 19^th, but now you have an extra excuse to drink one!
2. The Daiquiri didn’t become popular until World War II when whiskey and beer were not as accessible as rum.
